This package of hat sizer reducers has 8 Pieces of hat size reducer foam tape and comes with 4 black and 4 white foam hat reducer insert.
This reducing tape helps make hats which feel a little large, fit better for a comfortable fitting hat. Easy to install, the back of each hat sizer strip has adhesive, enabling you to insert and stick them on the inside of the sweatband.
This foam hat sizing tape works well in cowboy hats and the hat filler also works on many other types of hats including fedoras, baseball caps, bucket hats and helmets.
Approximate Size (LxWxH): 4.3 x 0.8 x 0.12 inch / 110 x 20 x 3mm. Import.
Step 1: Check Fit and Sizing
- CHECK FIT - Check your fit and determine where the hat seems loose (front, back, left side, right side)
- DO NOT REMOVE ADHESIVE
- TEST FIT WITH SIZE REDUCER TAPE - in the area(s) you feel the hat is loose, tuck one or more pieces of hat reducing foam tape under sweatband to determine fit
Step 2: Remove Adhesive
- ONCE HAT FIT IS TO YOUR LIKING
- 1) Remove each hat reducer strip individually
- 2) Remove the adhesive back protector
Step 3: Install
- INSTALL ? Stick foam reducing tape back underneath the sweat band from where your removed the tape
- REPEAT - Repeat for each piece of foam reducer tape
Step 4: Return Sweatband to Normal Position
- TRY ON HAT - Return your sweatband to its normal position and try on the hat to confirm fit
- MAKE ADJUSTMENT - If you need to adjust the fit, gently remove the foam hat reducing tape from its position and restick to its new location.
