Description

The Rockwood 494.26D automatic door holder is made of brass with a satin chrome plated finish, has a wall-mounted strike with 3-3/4" clearance from wall to door, and includes fasteners to attach the holder to a solid wood door and the strike to drywall or a plaster wall. The door holders roller catch automatically latches to the strike to hold the door open and releases by a gentle pull. The wall-mounted strike also acts as a stop to protect the wall. The door holder includes four #10 x 1-1/4" flathead wood screws for attaching the holder to the door and three #12 x 1-1/4" flathead wood screws and three plastic anchors for attaching the strike to the wall. Slotted mounting holes permit alignment adjustment of the body during installation. The satin chrome plated finish matches the Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association (BHMA) 626 architectural finish code. The door holder meets American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/BHMA A156.16: L01291 specifications.
