BS 633 RAF Blue-Grey Color Guide:
RAF Blue-Grey was widely used as the uniform color for RAF vehicles and equipment from World War II until the 1970s.
RAF Blue-Grey can also be used to paint the uniforms of World War II RAF personnel.
BS 633 RAF Blue-Grey was also used to camouflage FAA helicopters from the late 1960s through the 1990s. This scheme was introduced in 1957 according to AFO 2573/57. The ASW scheme variant also suggested using BS 356 Golden Yellow to paint the upper surfaces of the helicopters, while the SAR variant requested the use of Day Glo Red Orange (later replaced by BS 537 Signal Red) to paint the nose and fuselage band of the helicopter.
