DKH L40/52 Gray Color Guide:
DKH L40/52 Grau also known as AvionormNitrodecklack 7375 Graumatt was introduced in 1936.
The DKH L40/52 Gray was widely used for the entire light gray painting of Luftwaffe aircraft in the 1930s and 1940s, mostly civilian, but also prototypes and experimental aircraft.
DKH L40/52 Gray was used by Lufthansa in the 1930s and 1940s to painting airliners.
Note that the DKH L40/52 in the designation means the type of paint, but not the color. DKH stands for Dr. Kurt Herberts, who was a German paint manufacturer, but Grau in the designation stands for the color itself.
