RLM 82 Light Green Color Guide:
RLM 82 Light Green was announced by GL/C-E 10 Nr.10585/43 (IVE) Az.82b 10 of 21 August 1943 and introduced according to Sammelmitteilung Nr. 1 of 1 July 1944.
According to Sammelmitteilung Nr. 1 RLM 82 Hellgrun was to replace RLM 71 Dunkelgrun in the RLM 70/71 green camouflage of Luftwaffe bomber aircraft.
The RLM 82 Hellgrun was widely used in Luftwaffe fighter and bomber camouflages along with RLM 81 Braunviolett or its dark green Dunkelgrun variation.
At the end of World War II, the RLM 82 Light Green was also used for repainting and mottling aircraft painted according to earlier camouflage schemes, such as the fighter gray RLM 74/75 or bomber green RLM 70/71.
