Cooling Pads
A radiator is a passive heat exchanger that transfers heat generated by an electronic or mechanical device, thereby regulating the temperature of the device at an level. In computers, a heat sink is used to cool the central processing unit or graphics processor. Heat sinks are used with high-power semiconductor devices, such as power transistors, and optoelectronic devices, such as light-emitting diodes (LEDs), where the components themselves are not capable of dissipating heat sufficiently to regulate their temperature.
