Aluminum Fan Spacer 2" Thick 5/8" Pilot With Bolts Washers Machined
When replacing a Clutch Fan with a Flex Fan, a spacer is often required. The Fan Spacer takes up the area where the clutch used to be. This properly locates the new fan in the shroud. Without the spacer, the fan could hit other engine parts.
- This extruded aluminum fan spacer allows you to properly position your fan for maximum air flow
- Comes complete with hardware to simplify installation
- Kit comes with 5/16" bolts and washers to eliminate fan clutch from fan assembly
Features
The Flex-a-lite fan spacer is to be used when original equipment fan clutch is removed from the engine, to bring the new fan back into the "sweet spot" in the fan shroud opening. Belt driven fans perform best when they are 3/4" to 1" from the radiators surface. Multiple spacers may be used, up to a maximum of 3 inches.
- 2" thick for proper spacing when attaching fan
