Description

WHY DO YOU NEED THIS RV WINTERIZING KIT?

- Freezing temperatures can do more than just harm to your RVs plumbing.

- Winterizing kits can prevent water lines from freezing by flushing them and then adding antifreeze in certain areas.

HOW TO USE IT?

- Drain all water from the system first.

- Drain your water storage tank.

- You will also need to flush and clean your gray and black water tanks.

- Then you need to drain your water heater. (Make sure the water inside is no longer hot to avoid hurting yourself.)

- Turn on all hot and cold water faucets, including your tub and shower.

- Then, flush the toilet to clear any water from it. Youll also want to open your low-point drain lines; youll have one for hot and cold.

- At this point, if using a blowout plug, you can attach your air compressor to blow out the water lines. To avoid damaging your lines, adjust your compressor to no more than 30 psi.

- After your system has been drained, you can close the drain valve.
