Description

A genuine tool, the Iris, which bends, lies flat or offers just the right amount of resistance, is an essential tool and a pleasure to use. However beautiful a colour, it will be enhanced by the use of a high quality brush. And since we at Pebeo love colour, we have used our know-how to select the finest decorating brushes. Whether the bristles be natural or synthetic, the ferrules round or flat, the handle must always be short for decorating. The choice of bristle toe - domed, angled or fan-shaped - is crucial. Made of yellow polyamide bristles, the Iris brush is used especially in creative leisure work as it is extremely versatile, and comes in a wide range of different shapes which makes it possible to meet very specific needs. Iris Fan brushes can be used wet or dry. When used dry they are useful for painting shaded tones. When wet, they can be used to produce streaked effects, such as grass or trees. Their ferule is made out of stainless steel, and they have a short, red lacquered handle with a silver tip. The brush heads are also available in round, flat, filbert, liner, angular, dagger stripper, and comb shapes.
