The Pink Pounce Pad comes with 4 ounces of chalk, enough to quilt several large quilts. It is a fast, accurate way to transfer the stencil without using a marking pencil. Our popular Stipple Meander Full Line Stencil #31019, measuring approx. 9 ¾” x 15 ¼” in size, is 100% continuous line sewing, to get the job done quickly and easily and of course with beautiful results. Use the Magical Lint Brush with a Swivel Head to remove the chalk. Full Line Stencils are made of tough nylon mesh fabric; they have no true openings. Instead, the chalk sifts through the open mesh areas eliminating the need for breaks and bridges throughout the design as in the antiquated plastic stencils. There is very little maintenance involved in caring for the stencils, and they could last a lifetime even if neglected. We suggest you wipe the chalk off the stencil before using it with different color chalk; a microfiber towel works well. Full Line Stencils are also water-resistant; it’s possible to use other mediums such as paint or ink with them. They have no right or wrong side, and most have registration marks to align the patterns repeats. Should your stencil become wrinkled, simply press it flat with an iron (med. High temp, no steam). Beginner’s Choice Bundles are also available with a Pounce Pad with Blue Wash Off/Brush Off Chalk or White Ultimate (Iron-off) Chalk. Different colors may be more appropriate depending on the color of the fabric being marked. Do not mix colors within the same Pounce Pad.
