Editorial Reviews

Review

"As is typical with Interweave books, the layout it clear, the photography includes both flat and stylized shots of the projects, the patterns are straightforward and simple, using illustrations to hammer home the project instructions. The technical instructions and simple needlework, a primer in paper piecing and embroidery, are also clear and illustrated." --Mark Lipinksi

"Clearly focused on paper piecing, a passion of Pennys, her book is a great resource for both learning paper piecing and finding an abundance of modern yet retro inspired patterns." --Cut to Pieces

"The book is beautiful with color photos of every paper piecing pattern (the book includes 40 different designs), and also instructions for ten finished projects you can make using the designs. My favorite feature is the book comes with a disc for printing all the paper piecing patterns, so no need for scanning or photo copies." --My Paper Crane

"The Paper Pieced Home is amazing and should be in every foundation piecing fans personal library. Her designs constantly make me smile and thats what I look for in great design." --VerryKerryBerry

"...the thought of anything remotely fussy almost always makes me want to run. Not this! It was a JOY to put together and I was able to do it easily and confidently given all the information that Penny relays in her book. I think it took me about thirty minutes after printing the foundation. Not bad! And pretty cute, if I may say so myself!" --House on Hill Road
