Sizzix Embossing Folders are the perfect accessory to add texture to your creative projects. Designed especially for papercraft, you can now add textured components to your cards, invitations and even home decor with ease. Compatible with a wide range of Sizzix die cutting machines such as the Sizzix Big Shot, Sizzix Big Shot Plus, Sizzix Big Shot Foldaway, Sizzix Big Shot Pro and Sizzix Big Shot Express. All perfect die cutting and embossing machines for cardmaking, so you won’t be short on projects you can utilise this die set for! What is embossing? Embossing is the process of creating raised and textured designs in materials such as paper and cardstock, leaving a beautiful design to enhance your creative projects. How do I use an Embossing Folder? It’s easy! Grab your Big Shot Machine (660200) and Standard Cutting Pads (655093) to get started. Firstly, place your chosen paper or cardstock inside the folder, (for best results when using cardstock, spray a little water on the material before placing inside the folder. This will help to create an even deeper impression!) Place the folder on top of your first cutting pad and complete the sandwich with your second cutting pad placed on the top of the Embossing Folder and material. With one roll through your die cutting machine, your embossed design will be revealed! Note: An Adapter Platform (658992) will be required when using embossing folders with any of our Sizzix Big Shot machines. Simply place this under the sandwich you’ve created and you’re ready to go!
