Use this lock plate to reinforce and repair both metal, fiberglass, and wood doors. Made of solid stainless steel, the reinforcement lock comes finished in stainless steel to fit over a single bore hole on your door. All the necessary mounting hardware is included with the metal reinforcement plate for a complete installation. It is pre-punched for mounting. Remove the protective film after installation. The reinforced door lock is designed for 1-3/4 inch thick doors that have a 2-1/8 inch bore hole with a 2-3/4 inch backset. The lock reinforcement is 4-5/16 inch wide by 4-1/2 inch tall with a 0.03 inch thickness. Make sure to dry fit the metal reinforced door lock reinforcer before permanently installing.
