Rives is perfect for many art techniques: lithography, silkscreen, letterpress, intaglio, pastel & charcoal and other techniques. This paper has been around since the beginning of the 19th century. This paper was named after the owners of the Rives Mill in France from their initials: Blanchet Freres & Kiebler (BFK).
