Western Walnut grows in the eastern United States, and is distinguished from eastern hemisphere Walnut varieties. Color ranges from a lighter pale brown to a dark chocolate brown with darker brown streaks, sometimes with a grey, purple, or reddish cast. Use sealer to close the pores when finishing.
