Description

Showcasing a 1275cc and tuned up from the original 57 horsepower to 120 horsepower engine for racing, it is easy to see where this Minis name was born. After Mini concluded many years of success in rally, Mini turned to a new horizon with the British Saloon Car Championship now known as the British Touring Car Championship. Richard Longman took the track by storm, surprising all by receiving the wins for 1978 and then defended his title again in 1979 in this liveried Patrick Motorsports and taking Minis first win in the British Saloon Car Championship since 1969.
