Genuine Honda CB500K and CB550 cam chain guide. As your engine runs the cam chain is spinning all the time and it slowly wears all of the parts that guide it and put tension on it. If youre doing your top end and you plan to replace the cam chain and its associated parts, its a good idea. Check for wear of course, but sometimes its good to go by the "while youre in there" approach.
The guide is on the front side of the engine, closer to the headers. We also carry a reproduction cam chain slipper, which goes on the rear side of the cam chain.
