One end of the comb cuts at the indicated length while the other end cuts at a different, longer length, resulting in a clean taper! Each end corresponds to standard hair clipper cut lengths, taking the guess work out of cutting your hair exactly like you want to
Use the guide combs sequentially to create any taper hair length desired or simply to just clean up around the ear
1.Attach either the right or left guide to your clipper
2.Orient the clippers with the thicker side of the guard above the thinner side and, beginning at the front of the face, cut around the ear at a 45 degree angle using a smooth motion
3.Continue around the back of the head and pass around the opposite ear
4.Attach the other guard and repeat steps 1- 3, starting on the opposite side of the head
5.Once the desired taper has been achieved, attach the corresponding standard hair clipper cut lengths to your clippers and finish the cut
