Unscrew the Plastic Cap

Unscrew the plastic cap on the handle. Note: the bottom cap can be unscrewed to install metal blocks (Not Included) to add extra weight.

Adjust the Rope According to Your Height

Split the inner plastic adjuster, push the adjuster cover down and put excess rope into the handle or cut it off with a wire cutter. (Note: DO NOT use scissors to cut the rope as the hard steel wire may break your scissors).

Screw the Cap After Adjusting

After adjusting to your desired length, push back the plastic adjuster cover, and tighten the cap again.

How to Measure Jump Rope Length?

  • Step 1: Step your feet on the middle of the rope
  • Step 2: Pull the rope tight, bring the handles together and point to your armpit
  • Step 3: Only check where the cable ends - do not include the handles with rope size
  • Step 4: If you follow our length guide, the cable will stop at your sternum or lower pecs
  • Step 5: Insert excess rope to the handles or trim with wire cutter. If you are not familiar with jumping rope, it is good if the length of the rope is long at first. Then gradually reduce the rope to your preferred length. Children are recommended to start at shoulder height.

Note:

  • DO NOT use scissors to cut the rope as the hard steel wire may break your scissors. Only use wire cutter or sharp needle-nose pliers.
  • You will still have to cut excess rope if you install two weighted metal blocks (not included) to the handles.
  • Be sure to wear shoes as the rope will hurt your feet if you get caught up.
