HISTORY
Pachisi or twenty five is a game originated in ancient India, described as the national game of the country.
The name of the game comes from Hindi: pachis means 25, the highest score that can be achieved with pawns.

THE PLAYING FIELD4 squares in the corners of the game are the basic squares, while a central path follows the edges of a cross and ends in the centre. In each of the arms of the cross there is also a path of 6 squares, which starts from a special square, the starting square, and continues up to a central square, the arrival one. |

THE TARGETThe goal of each player is to bring all his pieces into play and bring them to the center before the opponents, after having completed a complete turn along the course. Be careful though, to bring a pawn into play you will need a 6 on the dice. |
