●ADVANTAGES OF TWIN SHELL: A majority of rider weight is supported by the lower stiffer shell. On the upper flexible shell lies the cushion and sitting surface. In between the two shells is the floating ergonomic core made of Infinergy, which isolates road shock, dampens vibrations, supports pelvic movements when pedaling and noticeably takes pressure off the sit bones.
●GENDER SPECIFIC: When it comes to saddle contact points and relief areas, men and women are anatomically very different. Any incorrect pressure distribution in this area often leads to feelings of numbness and discomfort. Men experience this more towards the back of the saddle and women, more towards the front of the saddle. Through extensive research and development, two distinctly different designs were born. The core consists of cutting-edge E-TPU with very special properties like a high responsiveness and an enormous, instant rebound. The saddle enables the riders pelvis to move more freely and thereby relieves his/her back in a medically effective way. Our Ergon ergonomics Laboratory has worked hard to optimize the saddles surface design for the anatomical requirements of a very upright riding position and for both men and women.
