Product Questions:

1. Q: How many watts (W) of solar panels can be connected

A: 30A Within 360W, 40A Within 480W, 50A within 600W, 60A within 720W.

2. Q: Does this controller support lithium batteries?

A: The new controller can be used for lead-acid batteries and lithium batteries. If you charge lithium batteries, you must set the charging parameters after connecting to the power. Please refer to the manual for details.

3. Q: My solar panel is 36V 200W, can I charge 12V battery?

A: To charge a 12V battery, the working voltage of the solar panel can be between 17V and 23V, and for a 24V battery, the working voltage of the solar panel can be between 36V and 46V.

Please make sure that the working voltage of the power supply and solar panels are within this range. If it is too high, the controller will be damaged.

4. Q: Can the inverter be connected to the load side of the controller?

A: Please connect the inverter directly to the battery and not to the load terminal of the controller.

5. Q: Does the controller have requirement for battery capacity?

A: No, as long as the voltage corresponds to it (but the maximum current of the board and the battery capacity should correspond). For example, the current of the solar panel is 5A, the battery capacity is preferably 50 AH, the current of the solar panel is 10A, and the battery capacity is preferably 100 AH. Do not use a large board to charge a small battery, which may be dangerous.

6. Q: How do you connect the solar panels, batteries, and controllers?

A: Please be sure to connect the battery first (to ensure that the battery is fully charged), then connect the solar panel. When disassembling, please remove the solar panel first, then remove the battery, please connect it exactly as this order, otherwise the controller and other components probably damaged.

Connect Ways:

  • The controller will automatically check the voltage when you connect the battery with the solar controller.
  • When you connect the positive and negative loads to the controller, please do not to reverse.
  • Please Connect the solar panels with the solar controller.

Note: Please connect the solar panel and solar controller strictly according to the order, otherwise the solar controller may be damaged.

Control and connection installation instructions:

1) The controller should be installed in a well-ventilated place, avoid direct sunlight and high temperature, and never install water in the controller.

2) Choose the correct screws to install the controller on the wall or other platforms, M4 or M5 screws, the nut diameter should be less than 10mm.

3) Leave enough space between the wall and the controller for cooling and smooth connection.

4) The installation hole distance is 50-60A (98 * 178mm). Mounting hole diameter is 5mm.

5) For better connection, when packing, all terminals are very tight, please connect them together, all terminals are loose.
