Adjustable with 6 inches of loop Velcro and secured with 2 inches of hook Velcro so the vest stays on your dog running, swimming or resting. Machine washable with a convenient hanging loop for air drying. CUGA VEST should fit securely with comfort around your dogs chest with a slight gap in the chest area to offer freedom for the dog to run, scent or drink fluids. CUGA VEST is designed with holes for your dogs legs to be able to stretch out while running without chaffing. CUGA VEST breastplate is double layered 1000 Denier Cordura to protect from sharp objects that might injure your dog. Each size has been developed with different widths between the front legs to offer protection with freedom of movement without chaffing. CUGA VEST protects the dog all the way around the body, down the back from the shoulder to near the rear hip joint and underneath a design feature allows male dogs to urinate and nursing females to protect their nipples. CUGA VEST may be adjusted a little looser to allow air flow to cool the dog and a loose fit around the back of the body shouldnt be of issue in the comfort or performance of the dog. If the dog is going to be swimming we would recommend that the vest not be so loose on the backward half so as to catch the dogs hind legs.
