KNEEPAD SK8 DHPS

The SK8 DHP knee pad is our extreme downhill protection, developed in collaboration with speed demon Kevin Reimer. Downhill pads aren’t just about saving flesh and bone from concrete but also provide a durable pivot for slides and balance. The Sk8 DHPs come in a long design made from durable, tear-resistant nylon and with a large cap and lateral slide extensions. To keep it in place it also features secure Neoprene butterfly straps with a closure that Kevin can trust.

WHY WE MADE IT

• We developed the Kneepad Sk8 DHP‘s with our team rider Kevin Reimer.
• The goal was to make a pad for extreme DH skaters that stays in place in case of a fall.
• We pulled the pad far over the knee.
• We have extended the cap on the side to prevent the pad from breaking when sliding laterally.
• This pad has a butterfly strap system for ease of use and adjustment.
• On the inside of the pad we have additional silicone prints so that the pad holds even better at the knee and does not slip.
• As the special straps system can be adapted to the length we have no excess strap and they can be additionally secured with an over tab closure.
• We use very thick EVA foam on this pad to protect the DH skaters.
• Furthermore the outer material is extra strong so that the cap does not break when sliding on your knees.
• Like all Skatepads this pad is Horseshoe shaped inside which prevents the pad from slipping off the knee too quickly.

• Hardshell construction - Hardshell-covered pads reduce friction against the ground in case of a fall. Maximum protection from impacts often associated with pedals, rocks and other objects found on varied terrain or falls from great heights on concrete or wooden ramps.
• Multi-layer EVA foam on and around knee - EVA provides great shock-absorbing properties, stress-crack resistance and low-temperature toughness. It can be used in multi layers and backed with hard shell caps for a solid performance.
