How does the electronic throttle body work?
The throttle body uses an electronic signal rather than a mechanical signal to control the throttle. This means that when you depress your cars gas pedal, instead of opening the gas pedal, you activate the gas pedal module, which converts the pressure youre putting on the pedal into an electrical signal. This signal is then sent to the electronic control unit, which considers your inputs as well as external variables to open the throttle for optimum efficiency and performance.
