Description:
Used for power input of high-power or Class A power amplifiers, high-power isolation or other high-start current machine applications. It is advisable to use the power within 5000W.
The function of the soft start board is to reduce the impact current when starting, so as to reduce the impact of the machine on the power grid and extend the service life of the switch.
The evaluation board uses a 40A high current pin relay and 10 thermistors to effectively protect the machine and prevent excessive starting current.
This single board does not require auxiliary power supply, and only has two wiring terminals, for power input and for load output, which is very convenient to use.

Working criteria:
In the initial stage of power-up, the thermistor with a negative temperature coefficient is used to supply power to the load to limit the instantaneous current. As the temperature of the thermistor increases, the resistance decreases and the load approaches normal working conditions. After about 3 seconds, the relay is closed and short-circuited. The thermistor, the power supply will directly supply power to the load through the relay contacts, and the load will enter the normal working state. Thereby, the influence of the surge current on the line and the influence on other electrical appliances is effectively suppressed, and the instantaneous high current impact of the load is avoided, and the life of the load is prolonged.

2.10 The thermistor can withstand more power than a single thermistor.
3. Terminal block: 9.5MM large-spacing terminal block.
The maximum operating current of 30A is much larger than the 7.62mm pitch. The step-down capacitor is an AV capacitor, which can be a reverse protection diode of a relay.

Note: The soft-start board is only used to limit the starting current to prevent electric shock, and the power is turned on when starting.
