Designed to remove the hub and bearing from aluminium multi-link suspension units with the aid of a pressure screw, adjustable legs and top plate to accommodate the different size bearings as found on VW group vehicles. Without this tool, this procedure is generally carried out with repeated heavy blows using a hammer to remove the heavily corroded bearing. This operation can easily damage surrounding components such as steering knuckles and ball joints or fracture the aluminium wishbone.
