PREPARATION FOR YOUR WHEEL SPACERS

  • Ensure that you have the correct model of the wheel hub accessory (flange) that fits your vehicle.
  • Make sure the vehicle is parked on a flat, stable surface and securely engage the parking brake.
  • Gather the necessary tools such as bolts, nuts, and a wrench.

REMOVING THE ORGINAL WHEEL HUB

  • Use the appropriate tools to safely lift the vehicle so that you can easily remove the original wheel hub.
  • Remove the bolts or nuts from the wheel and take off the original wheel hub from the wheel axle.
  • Clean any dirt or debris from the hub installation area to ensure a clean surface.

INSTALLING THE NEW WHEEL HUB ACCESSORY

  • Place the new wheel spacers onto the wheel axle, ensuring a perfect fit with the installation area.
  • Securely fasten the new wheel spacers accessory onto the wheel axle using bolts or nuts.
  • Gradually and evenly tighten the bolts or nuts using a wrench or suitable tool to ensure a secure and tight connection.

What Do Wheel Spacers Do?

  • Improve Vehicle Stability: wheel spacers widen your vehicle wheel base, increasing stability and resistance to side roll-over. By widening the distance between the left and right wheels, the car is more planted. This improves overall handling, grip, and cornering. Added stability provides extra control for experienced riders, and an additional margin of safety for younger or less experienced riders.
  • Provide Better Traction: wheel spacers increase tire to frame clearance allowing installation of wider wheels and high-traction mud,rock or snow tires.And this allows for larger brake calipers which fixed brake caliper clearance issues, and inner fender and suspension clearance.
  • Gives Vehicle a Unique Stance/Look: wheel spacers will slightly push out the tires and make them perfectly aligned with the fender or in some cases even push them out past the fender for more of an aggressive look with a “wider stance”.
  • This is good bang for the buck. Wheel spacers are an easy install that have a big effect on your ride. There aren’t many other aftermarket mods that make this much difference per dollar.

Installation by a professional technician is highly recommended.

  • Avoid using an impact wrench; hand wrench is recommended. Improper usage may cause lug nuts/bolts to break or loosen while driving, which will take potentially accident or injury. Be sure to torque the lug nuts to manufacturer specifications.
  • Clean the surface where the wheel spacer will be mounted. Then, clean the back of the wheel as well. When applicable to your specific vehicle application, remove the rotor/drum retainer clips. Be sure to remove all rust and corrosion with a wire brush. All surfaces must be clean so the wheel spacer sits perfectly flat on the vehicle mounting surface. If the surface is not clean, wheel vibration will occur.
  • Re-torque all lug nuts after 50-100 miles of driving, then again after 2-3,000 miles. Tip: Ensuring that all mating surfaces are properly cleaned before re-torquing.
