Our "Big John" is a Heavy Duty Strap Hinge or T-hinge, that is commonly used on large doors and gates. They have holes for use with lag type screws. Can be used in surface mount or jamb mount applications. Made of heavy gauge steel: 3/16" thick. Measures 20-1/2" inch long. Weighs 4.2 lbs. Estimated weight load range is 150 to 175 lbs using TWO hinges. Tight Knuckle alleviates sagging. Black powder coat finish. Works for right or left hand applications.
