Description

NUX TAPE ECHO is a homage to the Japanese-made Space Echo of 1974. Analog tape echo devices record incoming audio on a magnetic tape loop and then play the endless loop over the playback head, before re-reading audio become. The pedigree The original Space Echo units used the standard 1/4-inch tape, which was developed for rewinding tape reels, however, this device did not use any reels; the belt is transported via a Capstan drive. The belt loop contains a loose, constantly moving jitter in the belt chamber (also known as a belt tank) under a plastic plate that protects the belt and prevents it from warping. The design led to a lower noise level, wow and flutter and reduced it on tape wear. BNUX TAPE ECHO uses the core image technology to capture these features of the original tape echo, including BASS, HEIGHT, REPEAT RATE (TIME), INTENSITY (REPEAT), ECHO VOLUME ( LEVEL), REVERB VOLUME (REVERB) and physical properties like WOW, FLUTTER, SATURATION. Even self-regenerating self-oscillation with a double-foot switch-blunt-box housing!
