Description

Double ferrule fitting, or known as twin ferrule is a type of compression fitting and it does not require welding or threaded ends since the connection type is compression end. It can be assembled and reassembled many times. As such, the ferrule set has to be replaced while the body part is reusable. Twin ferrule also helps to reduce cost and offer high strength. The material used is stainless steel SS316. Double ferrule fitting consists of the body, nut, front and back ferrule. The front ferrule provides sealing while the back ferrule holds the fitting in place. Double ferrule fitting is more popular than single ferrule because they have strong mechanical grip with double sleeve protection.
