The Leather is very soft/supple that is aniline finished. It is a porous leather system that has excellent absorbency so it will accept oiling/waxing. It is naturally vegetable tanned without the use of harsh chemicals. Addtionally it features very thick/hearty double leather and heavy duty solid brass hardware. All Buckles feature a steel pin for added durability. Also you have two buckles on the crown, rolled throat with a very nice heavy duty snap and an adjustable chin. For the listed price this includes engraving and installation of the plate. Simply send us a message immediately after purchase with the plate #(1-24) you like for the font selection, and what you would like written on the plate. We can also do two lines of engraving for the same price. (Indicate what you would like on Line 1: and Line 2:). If you would like a second name plate added to the Halter, please add the Halter as well as the secondary Name plate option. These are offered in 6 different sizes (mini size, small pony size, pony size, cob size, horse size, and Large Horse/Oversize). Please note that for Mini size or small pony size we use a slightly smaller name plate. The Small Pony size comes with a triple stitch crown piece, the other sizes do not.)
