Sekishu White - One of the oldest handmade papers in the world. 50% kozo/50%sulphite mix. Excellent wet strength, ideal for hinging and mounting. Thin, delicate sheet with laid lines. 4 deckle edges. Sekishu is a large sheet with a pronounced laid pattern. It is thin, wispy and delicate in feel. It has great wet strength for its weight and is an excellent sheet for traditional Asian painting techniques. It also works well for collage and as a chine colle paper for intaglio printmaking
