●Fully Customizable From the Inside Out: To build a fully customizable keyboard, we designed every component easily assembled, including keycaps, switches, gasket, plate, and case foam if you want. With QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap each key on the keyboard. The open-source firmware means endless possibilities for keyboard layouts, shortcuts, backlight effects, and more.
●Hot-swappable Support: With the pre-lubed mechanical linear red switch provides unrivaled tactile responsiveness with up to 50 million keystroke lifespan. You can also hot-swap the V1 with almost all of the 3pin and 5pin MX mechanical switches on the market (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, etc.) without soldering required. The PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizer for “big keys” such as space bar, shift, enter, and delete are designed for less wobbliness and smooth performance.
●Compatible with both macOS & Windows Systems: Built with the Mac users’ experience in mind while still retaining compatibility for Windows devices, the Keychron V1 comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard.
●Double-shot PBT Keycaps & South-facing Backlight: The V1 comes with our unique OSA profile and double-shot PBT keycaps that aim to provide a more comfortable and subtle fingertip feel with excellent oil resistance for long-term use. The Keychron V1 is a fully customizable mechanical keyboard with QMK/VIA support. Anyone can intuitively master any keyboard keys or macro commands (incl. the knob) through the VIA software. The V1 is designed to be able to assemble easily, so you can customize the hardware and software with endless possibilities.
Hot-swappable
The pre-lubed Keychron K Pro mechanical switches come with an optimized mold with more precise positioning, and less wobbliness will certainly improve your fingertip feel. The Keychron switch is durable enough with unrivaled tactile responsiveness on the linear red switch and up to 50 million keystroke lifespan.
The hot-swappable sockets supports both 3 pin and 5 pin MX mechanical switches (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, etc.), so you can customize your favorite switches without soldering.
Program Each Key and Macro with QMK/VIA
Simply connect the V1 to your device with a cable, import the V1 keymap JSON file into the VIA software, drag and drop your favorite keys or macro commands to remap any key you want on macOS, Windows, or Linux operating systems, e.g.: create a macro command of a screenshot on macOS. Check our user guide or user manual for more instructions.
