These knives begin as a single piece of specially alloyed Chrome-Vanadium-Moly cutlery steel. Each knife is hand forged and passes through more than forty separate steps in the production process before completion. The grip scales are crafted from seasoned oak taken from wine barrels each of which is over eighty years old. This rare oak wood is as indestructible as it is beautiful. Ice hardened stainless steel; hand sharpened ? not for the dishwasher!
