About Us
KOTAI was born with the idea of uniting Asian and Western cutlery. Light, precise and sharp like a Japanese knife but as durable and strong as a German knife. All are handcrafted from high-end Japanese Aichi steel. Some of the models are made in Seki, Japan, while others are expertly assembled in YangJiang, the knife-making capital of China for over 1500 years.
Our knives are manufactured by combining traditional methods with advanced technological processes, such as vacuum heat treatment and cryogenic cooling.
