Note:This is an anti-downdraught cowl. A downdraught is only wind generated. If the problem(smoking fireplace/stove) exists when there is no wind, then the problem is not a downdraught.

Warning:If your chimney is more than 1 meter below the apex of your roof any anti downdraught cowl can become ineffective.
Typical Downdraught Symptoms:smoke/fumes puffing out of the fireplace or stove when the wind blows.
