Description

Machine screws are generally used to fasten metal parts together in various types of machinery, automotive, and construction applications. They have a uniform diameter the entire length of the shaft with a flat end and are typically fully threaded. Machine screws are typically used with a pre-tapped hole or with a nut. The oval head is very similar to a flat head screw but has a rounded surface. The phillips drive has a cross-shaped indent for use with a Phillips screwdriver. 18-8 stainless steel, also commonly known as 304 or A2 stainless steel, has good chemical resistance and may be mildly magnetic.
