Product Features: The engine interface module is a sealed module installed on the engine, which provides switching relays for the starting motor solenoid valve, glow plug and fuel solenoid valve. Each of these circuits is protected by a separate fuse installed in the module. When each circuit is energized, a single LED illuminates.
EIM Plus: The ElIM Plus is used with a control panel that is not equipped with an overspeed shutdown.
Overspeed signal (EIM Plus only) The ElM Plus monitors the speed signal from the magnetic sensor. If the engine speed rises above a preset value, the module sends a 0 volt signal to the generator set control panel to activate the overspeed fault circuit.
