Description

The Brennan 6400-O series MJ-04MORB adapter fitting is made of steel and has JIC male and O-ring boss connectors. This adapter fitting connects pipes or fittings with different end types, diameters, or materials. It has a Joint Industrial Council (JIC) flared male connector on one end and an O-ring boss on the other. The fitting is made of steel for its better weldability and increased rust resistance over iron. The operating temperatures for this fitting range from -63 to 400 degrees F. This fitting meets Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) standard J514 for quality assurance.

Pipe fittings are components used for connecting, terminating, controlling flow, and changing the direction of piping in many different industries. Push-to-connect compression fittings do not require tools or sealants, and are useful in installations where a heat source, such as a soldering torch, is prohibited. When purchasing pipe fittings, consider the application, as this will affect material type, shape, size, and required durability. Fittings are available threaded or unthreaded, in many shapes, styles, sizes, and schedules (pipe wall thickness).

Brennan Industries manufactures critical flow components. The company, founded in 1953 and headquartered in Solon, OH, meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 standards and its fittings meet Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) specifications.
