Description

Sterling Seal & Supply, Style 1100-TCP Die Formed pump and valve packing ring sets are braided from pure expanded graphite. This material is resilient, self lubricating, chemically inert and thermally conductive. 1100TCP can be used in both pumps and valves in a wide range of service conditions. A braided packing comprising expanded graphite fibre, with 99% minimum purity, reinforced with a non-metallic filament. It is impregnated with our proprietary high temperature, graphite-based dispersion to enhance sealability. High integrity sealing over long operational periods Excellent chemical resistance across a very wide temperature range. Typical applications are centrifugal pumps, valves, dryers and reactors. Suitable for use with superheated and saturated steam, gases, petrochemicals, hydrocarbons, hot oil, thermic fluid, acids and alkalis, solvents, organic chemicals, emissive fluids and nitrous oxide. Please note that this packing is unsuitable for reciprocating duties.
