Description

Remington Industries offers this Composite Film Electrical Tape #44, which is commonly used in applications such as stick-wound coils/transformers and in bobbin-wound coils for banding, anchoring, and insulating. Designed for continuous operation not exceeding 130 deg. C per UL and CSA listings, the tape is coated on one side with a pressure-sensitive adhesive that does not require any heat, moisture, or other preparation to properly bond. The tan polyester film/nonwoven composite backing plus the thermosetting rubber adhesive make for an industrial-grade tape with a minimum breaking strength of 25 lb/in. The tape comes on rolls of 90 yards (82.3 meters), which have a 5-year shelf life from the date of manufacture when properly stored.
