kalimba thumb piano is a national instrument with ethnic characteristics in Africa. In different African countries, the thumb piano has different names, such as Kalimba , Mbira, Likembe, Sanza and Thumb Piano among other names.
Composition of the Kalimba thumb piano:
The upper part of the thumb piano cabinet is made of flexible ore steel of different lengths to produce different wavelengths of sound. The bottom part is made of high quality solid wood, which serves as a resonance box. To play, the thumb piano body is held in both hands and played with both thumbs. When the thumbs press the keys and then release them, the keys vibrate and produce sound.
Easy to learn :
Music is an auditory art.More and more people are starting to like the thumb piano, and the keys are engraved with notes, making it easy for beginners to get started quickly. The scales of the kalimba thumb piano 21 keys are all hand-tuned, and we all tune them before sending them out, but there may be bumps in the road transport, or if you have special requirements for the tone, you can also use a small hammer to tune your favorite tone.
Tuning steps:
(1). Download the tune APP. IOS: Instuner . Android: gStrings
(2) Use the tuning hammer to tune the tine, until the note in the tuner matches the default note and the pointer directing to the center position.
Making tines longer (from the point where they are held down on the bridge) will lower their pitch, and making them shorter will make their pitch higher.
