It depends on the product size and the surrounding temperature and humidity. Using a hair dryer can shorten the drying time.
What should I do if the clay dries up?
If you find that the clay is dry and feels like rubber, you can put a few drops of water in the clay,Then seal it and store it in an environment around 25°C, and it will soften overnight.
What should I do if the work is deformed?
You can use: upside down to dry (for example: flowers, long strips, etc.); paper towels, cotton, etc. for cushioning (for example: balls, curved surfaces, etc.); toothpicks for fixing (for example: heads, hands and other parts).
What should I do if I eat clay by mistake?
According to our test and experience, under normal circumstances, after a child or pet eats a small amount by mistake, give him (her) to drink more warm water, eat more crude fiber food to promote excretion, and no adverse symptoms will occur.
How to make BOHS Foam Clay waterproof?
BOHS foam clay is not naturally waterproof. To make it waterproof, you can:
Apply a varnish or sealant to create a protective layer.
Use waterproof glue to form a moisture barrier.
Add a coat of wax for water resistance.
Three Materials are needed:
BOHS Foam clay (any colors) clear school glue contact lens solution or diluted borax
Instructions:
1. Pour some school glue into a container
2. Add a small amount of the contact lens solution or diluted borax to the glue separately for 3-5 times, stirring constantly. stirring the mixture until it starts to come together and form a sticky mass.Knead the mass with your hands until it reaches an elastic and non-sticky texture.
The key trick is to add the lens solution or diluted borax several times in small amounts.Do NOT pour the solution or diluted borax too much at a time.
3. Take a portion of BOHS Foam Clay (approximately one-third of the volume of the slime) and combine the slime and BOHS Foam Clay, kneading them together until they are fully mixed and have a smooth, buttery texture.
Once you have created your clay slime (or butter slime), you can enjoy your new, unique creation. Remember to store the slime in an airtight container when not in use to prevent it from drying out.
