Description

Are steep slopes and couloirs your thing? These high-stretch 3-layer touring pants were developed with experienced mountaineering guides specifically for big-mountain skiing in the Dolomites and elsewhere. They feature a casual cut and, thanks to the high-tech polyamide outer layer, theyre not only robust, but also absolutely waterproof and windproof and an excellent choice for mountain sports freeriders. Ventilation zips and a highly breathable Ceplex Pro membrane ensure excellent microclimate regulation during strenuous ascents or after challenging descents. In addition, the pants have plenty of practical pockets for items such as an avalanche transceiver, map or a power bar. Abrasion resistant Cordura inserts on the legs protect from sharp ski edges. The Boe Jacket was designed to complement the Boe Pants. The Green Shape quality seal stands for manufacturing of the materials under the strict bluesign standard. The VAUDE brand stands for respect in all its interaction with others and with the world around us. This family-run business based in Tettnang/Germany has set its sights on becoming Europe’s most sustainable outdoor brand by the year 2015. With the publication of a GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) Sustainability Report starting in 2013, VAUDE has successfully created an objective and measurable foundation for this goal. VAUDE has always placed a high value on external certification. We have been working with the strict environmental standard, bluesign, which monitors the entire textile manufacturing chain since 2001. We were also the first outdoor company to receive EMAS certification. Green Shape is the VAUDE guarantee for planet friendly products made from sustainable materials and resource-conserving production. VAUDE has set a goal of systematically converting its entire product range to manufacturing. Since 2012, the company headquarters in Tettnang and all products manufactured there have been climate neutral.Social responsibility is a strong focus at VAUDE as well. As an employer, VAUDE supports its employees in creating a successful work-life balance. This is why VAUDE has an on-site company childcare center, kindergarten, flexible working models, part-time, home-office and job-sharing options. The numbers prove that our efforts are worth it: 60% of our employees are women, over 30 % of management positions are filled by women. VAUDE is dedicated to fair working conditions throughout the world, such as through its membership in the Fair Wear Foundation.
