Mustang is a Class-A overdrive designed based on the Neve 1073 preamp. Generous head room provides rich harmonics and superior distortion to the sound without compromising dynamic range. TONE is also different from normal tone circuit, it controls "negative feedback". The combination of GAIN and TONE allows for a wide range of sounds, from thick boosts to rough distortion. Because it is handmade in the USA, it takes time to make it and uses NOS parts, so it is a special effector.
