Can this faux cowhide be cut to a smaller size ?

My rug showed up with wrinkles on the edges because of how it was rolled. Any suggestions on how to de-wrinkle?

There are four effective ways:

1, Roll the carpet. Roll the rug under with the top side facing out and keep the rug rolled for at least 48 hours.

2, Flattening with weights. Place an item in the affected area for a day or two until it flattens out.

3, Use an iron. Put the carpet on the floor and then iron on it to get rid of the wrinkles.

4, Sun exposure. Put it outside in the sunshine for up to 2 hours and they will settle.
