Description

Grade 70 Transport Chain is a popular binder chain in the flatbed industry. Known by a variety of names such as tie down chains, trailer chains, flatbed chains and trucker chains, this standard link chain can be easily identified by its gold or yellow chromate finish, which is recognized industry-wide as the color for Grade 70. Its most commonly used as a tie-down on flatbed trailers but is also used for towing, logging, safety, and oil rigging applications. Grade 70 Transport chain is extremely strong given its lightweight, making it superior to standard grade 43 high-test chain. The chain is stamped with "G70" for easy identification and meets NACM standards for safe tie-downs. It is important to know the grade of chain you are working with and its working load limits. Each chain assembly is marked with a grade number, size, and manufacturer. This 16-foot length of 3/8-inch Grade 70 Chain comes fitted with Clevis Grab Hooks on both ends of the chain and has a working load limit of 6,600-pounds. All US Cargo Control chain comes in the customer preferred short link variety and is made to the strict specifications set by the National Association of Chain Manufacturers (NACM96).
