EDSYN has been successful in the design and manufacture of portable, hand-held desoldering tools for over 60 years. The removal of solder using a desoldering-pump is still one of the most popular and best methods available today. EDSYN invented and patented the world’s first solder sucker also known as SOLDAPULLT back in 1961 and continues to manufacture these tools in its factory in Van Nuys, California. Simplifying processes was the driving force behind the innovation that created the legacy we know as the SOLDAPULLT. These tools are easy to use, cost efficient and easy to maintain.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE ORIGINAL SOLDAPULLT
Each EDSYN SOLDAPULLT operates on the principle of a spring-loaded plunger in a barrel. The plunger extends the full length of the barrel before being drawn back into the barrel to create a strong vacuum impulse. A trigger button activates the plunger including the self-cleaning shaft which acts as a valve during the initial vacuum stroke. As the shaft leaves the tip, a high-vacuum impulse force is created to lift the molten solder. These features are proprietary and have made EDSYNs desoldering tools "world famous" for decades.

THREE HEAVY DUTY MODELS TO CHOOSE FROM
There are 3 models to choose from for heavy duty and industrial usage; models DS017, AS196 and DS017LS. All these tools will quickly and efficiently desolder larger PCB connections, terminals and connectors. The portable size of these pumps delivers easy one-handed loading and operation. A simple push-button trigger quickly releases the oversized plunger to create an immediate and direct vacuum impulse at the desoldering tip; while the integral cleaning shaft self-cleans the tip each time the tool is reloaded. A convenient bayonet twist barrel allows each of these pumps to be taken apart for fast routine cleaning. They are all manufactured using durable corrosion resistant materials for a longer life.
