BAND-IT C00369 Heavy Duty Tool
Heavy duty tool, designed specifically for applications that require higher torque. Ideal for use with municipal applications and large diameter hose clamping. 25% larger tension screw, heavier handle and bearing than C00169. For applications requiring extra strength. Tensions over 3,300 pounds of force. Used to apply BAND-IT Stainless Steel Band, Galvanized Carbon Steel Band, BAND-FAST, general use band and miscellaneous strapping. Tensions and cuts off the tail of the clamp being formed. Drop forged tool with built in cutter. Spring loaded gripper lever improves ease-of-use, and improves band tensioning.

The BAND-IT C13699 VALU-STRAP band is a 100-ft. roll of stainless steel strapping that can be cut into straps to mount small signs, hang decorations, or secure cables, wires, or other materials. The banding is made of 200 or 300 series stainless steel, which is resistant to rust and corrosion. The 0.015" thickness is thin enough to allow the strapping to be bent snugly around the object. The strapping measures 100 ft. long, 3/4" wide, and 0.015" thick, weighs 4.4 lb., and has an average breaking strength of 900 lb. (Breaking strength is the greatest stress the strap can withstand without rupturing.) Pallet strappers, also known as strapping machines and banding machines, are used to bundle loads with straps to secure them for storage or transport. Pallet strappers are typically fitted with a roll of strapping, and they can be semiautomatic for low to medium use or fully automatic for high-volume applications, such as at postal facilities or shipping companies. Some pallet strappers are handheld. The strapping itself can be made of metal, polyester, nylon, and other materials, depending on the items to be secured.
